Today half of my class, K4 got told by our teacher to take photos of different things. Once we did that we had to come back into our class room and learn how to down load photos from our camera onto our computer. I successfully down loaded them with my group of 6 and I put two of our photos onto my blog. I loved it because it was fun taking photos around the school and I now know how to down load photos!

In term two my school had cross country. The cross country was     7 ks across a big farm. We had to run up a lot of big hills and it was scorching hot! I did not come a placing but I was proud of myself to have only walked a tiny bit. It was one of my hardest challenges yet. A girl called Ruby came first out of the whole school. It was hard but it was a great challenge.
My class, K4 had to write a creative, creepy creature report on the star-nosed mole. We got to make up names for the creatures and we got to add funny things they might like such as chocolate and maybe ice-cream. I loved this piece of writing because you could make your creature do or like anything you wanted it to.

 the komodo dragon

I would like to inform you that if you ever visit Komodo Island in Indonesia beware of the  human eating, blood sipping creatures called komodo dragons.
 Appearance
The komodo dragons have razor sharp, shark like teeth that can pierce through any kind of skin in one single bite! They have claws as sharp as a knife that can keep their prey pinned to the ground. These magnificent, but terrifying creatures rely on patience and camouflage while lying in wait for passing prey.
Eggs and size
Komodo dragons can lay up to 25 eggs at a time. They grow up to 3 metres long. They can weigh up to 70 kg.

Special Features
One of the keys to their killing ability is the infectious bacteria in their saliva which can kill all sorts of prey. Komodo dragons can run briefly at speeds of up to 20 km/ hr.
Habitat
The komodo dragon is only found on the Indonesian islands in the komodo area. The natural \
habitat of the komodo dragon is the open rocky shore and sandy inland areas. The number of
komodo  dragons is  3,000 to 5,000.

My class [ k4 ] have been doing a really cool piece of writing each about our dream house. My dream house is an amazing mansion in the city of Brisbane. I have a trampoline room, a lolly room, a buffet, a really cool bedroom, a dolphin pool and lots more! We had to pick just one paragraph to put on our blogs and I chose the paragraph about my bedroom. We also had to choose a few photos and I chose the ones on my blog. I loved this piece of writing.
My Dream Home.

let me take you on an extraordinary, magical tour of the house of all your dreams! "Oh yes, please don't touch anything only I can."

My bedroom has 4 chocolate fountains but it only uses milk chocolate. It has a 70 inch plasma flat screen T.V. hanging over my bed. I have a view outside my window of Brisbane's Story bridge. I have three pot plants with beautiful, exotic flowers in them. They always
remind me of spring.

In term two I competed in stage challenge 2013. My schools theme was paranormal. There was ghosts, zombies, rag dolls and the campers. I was a rag doll and we made up an amazing dance with funky moves. We got 2 prizes we did really well. Stage challenge was a great experience for me because I made a lot of new friends and learnt heaps of new dance moves. I am definitely  going to do it next year as well.
